What will happen to Amotekun if everyone is engaged – Tinubu

The Nationwide Chief of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has mentioned the Amotekun safety outfit within the South West of Nigeria shall be a pet if everyone seems to be engaged.

Tinubu said this in Akure whereas inaugurating the Ondo Income Home constructed by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Saturday.

In line with him “You may equally use the synergy with the Odua funding to collaborate, not solely on Amotekun Corps.

“Amotekun is a creation of necessity to curtail actions of hoodlums brought on by unemployment, irritating and starvation.

“If everyone is engaged, Amotekun shall be a pet.”

Tinubu additional appealed to governors within the geopolitical zone, notably as three of them have finance-related backgrounds, to use synergy utilized in founding Oodua Funding to handle the issues.
