The Division of State Providers (DSS) has denied arresting the performing chairman of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.
DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, said this on Monday by way of a quick assertion.
“The Division of State Providers (DSS) needs to tell the general public that it didn’t arrest Ibrahim MAGU, Performing Chairman of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) as has been reported by sections of the media. The Service, has since, right now, sixth July, 2020, been inundated with enquiries over the alleged arrest,” he stated.
Mr Magu is alleged to be going through questions for alleged corrupt practices as EFCC boss following damning remarks by the Legal professional-Common of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
