A truck proprietor, recognized as Fatai Salami, has dedicated suicide after his truck was seized by officers of the Ogun State Site visitors Compliance and Enforcement Corps for flouting Covid-19 legal guidelines within the state.
Salami reportedly drank an insecticide, snipper, on the premises of the TRACE after he was requested to pay N215,000 for flouting Covid-19 regulation within the state.
A supply advised Punch correspondent that TRACE officers seized the deceased’s truck from his driver in Abeokuta on Thursday for flouting social distancing order and failure to make use of face masks.
He was stated to have gone to the premises of TRACE and pleaded for the discharge of his truck, however didn’t get his truck again.
