TRANSPORTERS in Edo State have supported Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress within the September 19 governorship election.
Hundreds of members of the Affiliation of Skilled Drivers on Wheel, led by their President, Comrade Adams Ehi, also called Shaba, defied the rain yesterday morning for a gathering the place their endorsement of the APC candidate was publicly introduced.
Ehi stated the skilled drivers deserted their companies to announce their endorsement of Ize-Iyamu due to their conviction in his intention and talent to remodel Edo State and develop infrastructure that will carry the state’s economic system and ease the transportation of residents and items.
He stated the affiliation has begun mobilisation of its members in all senatorial districts, together with Edo North and Edo Central, to strengthen help for Pastor Ize-Iyamu and ship victory for him on the polls.
Different drivers hailed Ize-Iyamu for his promotion of human and infrastructural growth and attested to his optimistic contributions to the event of the state because the Secretary to the State Authorities and Chief of Workers.
They stated his earlier contributions, each as a public servant and personal citizen, assured them that if elected, Pastor Ize-Iyamu would prioritise their wants and people of different Edo residents on the grassroots.
Ize-Iyamu thanked members of the Skilled Drivers on Wheel Affiliation for his or her help and promised to make sure that nobody is left behind in his empowerment and growth efforts to revive financial development.
