Three individuals had been on Friday burnt to dying in an accident involving a pick-up van round Danco filling station on the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway.
Mr. Ahmed Umar, Sector Commander, Federal Highway Security Corps (FRSC) in Ogun confirmed the incident to journalists in Abeokuta.
In line with Umar, the crash occurred round 4:37pm and was attributable to extreme dashing and lack of management by the pickup van driver.
He stated that the pickup van with no registration quantity was on prime velocity, when it misplaced management, hit a truck in its entrance and instantly burst into flame.
The sector commander defined that 5 individuals, all males had been concerned within the accident, with one individual sustaining accidents and three others burnt to dying.
“One automobile was concerned; a pick-up van with no registration quantity on it.
”The suspected explanation for the lone crash is extreme dashing which led to lack of management and the van hit a truck in his entrance and instantly went into flame,” NAN quoted him as saying.
The FRSC boss added that the injured sufferer had been taken to Idera Hospital in Sagamu for medical consideration whereas the corpses had been deposited on the mortuary.
