Soldiers replace policemen at checkpoints

To scale back the chance of safety breaches through the Governorship election in Edo State, armed navy males have been deployed to man the roads within the State.

Checkpoints that had been previously operated by policemen had been dismantled and turned to navy checkpoints. The closely armed troopers had been nevertheless pleasant to the few street customers.
