Sharia: Residents warned in opposition to beer as Hisbah destroys bottles

The Sharia regulation enforcement company in Jigawa, Hisbah has destroyed 588 bottles of beer.

They have been confiscated in Tudun Babaye village after a raid in Gujungu, Kijawal, Wadugur villages in Ringim and Taura Native Authorities Areas.

State Commandant of Hisbah, Ibrahim Dahiru, made this recognized to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Sunday.

Dahiru reiterated that consumption of beer was prohibited in all components of Jigawa.

He assured that Hisbah wouldn’t relent in its combat in opposition to immoral acts, together with consumption of alcohol.

The commandant suggested residents to desist from participating in social vices.
