Sarkin Fulani in Iganga, Abdulkadir resurfaces in Ilorin, decries threat to life

The embattled Sarkin Fulani of Igangan, in Ibarapa Native Authorities of Oyo State, Salihu Abdulkadir, on Thursday resurfaced in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Addressing newsmen at a press convention, Abdulkadir stated ” Given the conspiracy by the police with the natives of Igangan, I and my folks won’t really feel comfy returning to Igangan.

“We’ve got learnt that the federal government had deployed over 200 Amotekun personnel to the forests in Oyo.

“Who will these Amotekun males meet within the forests aside from the Fulani?” he requested.

Sarkin Abdulkadir denied conniving with kidnappers working within the Igangan space as alleged by Mr Sunday Adeyemo, (aka) Sunday Igboho and data of the killing of Dr Aborode.

“On the problem of the killing of 1 Dr Aborode, I don’t know something about it. The place Dr Aborode was killed may be very removed from my village,” he declared.

Abdulkadir, stated, “all of the allegations in opposition to him had been concocted by Sunday Igboho with the only purpose of getting the Fulani out of Igangan and different elements of Yoruba land.”

He asserted that “I and my household have been residing in Igangan for over 50 years with none challenges from the folks or some other locations.”

The sarkin Fulani appealed to emirs and different conventional rulers within the 19 Northern states to return to the rescue of the Fulani residents within the South West.
