Sanwo Olu orders CP to release ALL detained protesters

All Finish SARS protesters detained in Surulere and different elements of Lagos state have been freed.

They’re Okara Nkem, Ayodeji Ayeni, Nduka Treasure, Adeola Adebayo, Adetifa Olanrewaju and Ademola Ojabodu.

Their freedom was facilitated by Home of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Feyikemi Abudu, Moe Odele, and Desmond Elliot.

The Speaker and the Governor spoke on their intervention Tuesday evening.

“Gladly we’ve been capable of safe the discharge of Ademola Ojabodu, the final of the 6 arrested folks. We should and can proceed to guard our rights always”, Gbaja tweeted.

“I gave a directive to the CP to impact the discharge of the arrested protesters and so they have all been launched. Each citizen has a proper to protest peacefully”, Sanwo-Olu tweeted an hour later.

He assured that nobody will likely be punished for partaking in a peaceable protest.
