The Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students (NANS) and #RevolutionNow motion on Tuesday protested hike in petrol worth, electrical energy tariff and cable TV subscriptions amongst others.
Recall that the Pipelines and Product Advertising and marketing Firm (PPMC), a subsidiary of the Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Company, NNPC, had earlier introduced an increment within the pump worth of petrol to N151.56 per litre.
The Coalition of Civil Societies, Osun State and the Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students (NANS), had given the Federal Authorities of Nigeria 5 days ultimatum to reverse the petrol pump worth and electrical energy tariff, DAILY POST reviews.
DAILY POST gathered that Coalition of Civil Societies have carried out collection of assembly, planning for the nationwide protest after the 5 days ultimatum issued to Buhari which can elapse on Tuesday.
The protesters, who converged on the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Outdated Storage, terminated the protest at Ola-Iya junction, Osogbo.
