Reno Omokri reveals what led to increase in fuel, electricity price

Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has revealed what led to the hike in electrical energy and gasoline worth.

Recall that energy distribution firms carried out new electrical energy tariffs on September 1, whereas the federal authorities introduced a brand new ex-depot worth of petrol on September 2.

Nevertheless, Omokri in a tweet through his Twitter account on Sunday, claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari was initially afraid to boost the costs of gasoline and electrical energy.

In response to him, the President went forward with the choice after he noticed that the Massive Brother Naija present had fully distracted Nigerian Youths.

“l was surprised to see youths organise a fundraiser for a disqualified BBNaija housemate.

“I used to be informed that Common MBuhari was afraid to boost the costs of gasoline and electrical energy.

“What emboldened him was when he noticed how BBN has fully distracted Nigeria’s youth,” he mentioned
