Responding to a query on claims by Magu’s legal professionals that the probe was a witch-hunt, Shehu stated, “I assume this can be a query for the Justice Ayo Salami panel and I have to say that panel consists of a few of this nation’s most honoured individuals with integrity who will do the appropriate factor.
“I’m not going to pre-empt the panel investigation however I simply advise Nigerians to carry their hearts of their arms. By the point they’re achieved with this job and so they come out with the studies, put together yourselves for surprises.
“I don’t know what’s going to come out but when the sense we’re getting from what’s being achieved over there’s something to go by, I feel that Nigerians shouldn’t be confused by any outbursts by anyone.”
The panel, led by Justice Ayo Salami, is investigating over 20 allegations levelled in opposition to Magu.
