The Police Service Fee (PSC) on Monday kicked out 10 senior law enforcement officials from the drive and demoted eight others over varied instances of misconduct.
This was made recognized in an announcement by the Head, Press and Public Relations, of the PSC, Ikechukwu Ani.

Ani revealed that one Superintendent of Police (SP), 5 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) and 4 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP) had been dismissed.
“A deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) had been lowered in rank, a call which additionally affected 4 Superintendents of Police (SP), one Deputy Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Police,” the assertion reads.
“The Fee additionally authorised the punishment of extreme reprimand for 16 Officers, reprimand for 13 and letters of warning to 4 others. Two Officers are to obtain Letters of recommendation whereas eleven had been exonerated.
