The Police Service Fee (PSC) has accredited the promotion of 20,356 senior law enforcement officials.
The choice was taken on the eleventh Plenary Assembly in Abuja.
PSC Chairman, Musiliu Smith, a former Inspector Common of Police, presided over the assembly.
9 Commissioners of Police (CPs) have been promoted to the subsequent rank of Assistant Inspectors Common of Police (AIGs); one other 9 have been elevated from the rank of Deputy Commissioner to CPs.
Three Chief Superintendents have been moved to Assistant Commissioners of Police; 1,577 Deputy Superintendents to Superintendents of Police and a couple of,293 Assistant Superintendents to Deputy Superintendents of Police.
PSC additionally elevated 7,283 Assistant Superintendents (ASP11) to Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP1), 9,072 Inspectors to Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP11) and 110 Inspectors promoted to Senior Inspectors.
