Police in Jigawa State have recovered a newly born child deserted at Eid floor in Dutse metropolis.

Spokesman of the command, SP Abdu Jinjiri confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.

He stated police discovered the newly born male youngster wrapped in a material.

Jinjiri stated the kid was taken to hospital the place he was examined and confirmed to be wholesome.

He stated the kid was handed over to Dutse Native Authorities Social Welfare Division.

Jinjiri stated the police had been making efforts to seek out the mom of the newborn and the circumstances led to her motion.
