The police in Ogun State have arrested one Dare Ojugbele, who was described as a “wished infamous cultist.”
Ojugbele, fondly addressed as ‘cussed’, is a resident of Itawaya in Ilaro, Yewa South Native Authorities space of Ogun State.
The suspect was arrested on Thursday at about 12 midday, when the DPO of Ilaro, CSP Olayemi Jacob, was on routine patrol along with his males alongside Idogo highway.
The DPO had sighted the suspect, who the police stated had been on the wished listing of the command for fairly someday, on prime of a bike.
DAILY POST learnt that he was shortly intercepted and subsequently arrested.
A search was performed on him on the spot and one locally-made pistol, one dwell cartridge, one 7.65 mm dwell ammunition and diverse harmful charms had been recovered.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, whereas confirming the arrest, stated “the suspect has confessed being a member of the dreaded Eiye cult group they usually had been accountable for collection of cult clashes inside Ilaro and its environs.”
