A 46-year-old man, Aremu Olayinka, was on Tuesday arraigned earlier than an Osogbo Magistrates’ Courtroom for allegedly stealing resort property.
The accused was stated to have stolen three Air Conditioners, valued N210,000, eighteen items of ceiling followers valued N90,000; Deep Freezer valued N360,000; one generator valued N150,000; three Pumping Machines valued N60,000 and different gadgets whole valued N1,000,000, all properties of 1 Philip Ikechukwu.
Police prosecutor, Abdullahi Musa instructed the courtroom that the accused dedicated the offence between February 2019 and March 2020 at Maskon Worldwide Resort, Ajekunle space in Osogbo.
He acknowledged that the offence dedicated was opposite to Part 383 and punishable below part 380(9) of the Legal Code Cap 34 Vol ll Legislation of Osun State 2002.
The accused individual, nevertheless, pleaded not responsible to the fees levelled towards him.
Defence Counsel, Sulaiman Akano prayed the courtroom to grant his consumer bail in a most liberal time period.
He promised that his consumer would offer a dependable surety and never soar bail if granted.
In his ruling, Justice of the Peace Abayomi Ajala granted the accused individual bail within the sum of N1 million with one surety in like sum.
He, thereby, adjourned the case until December 8, for listening to.
