PDP sold fuel for N600/litre – Presidency

President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, has instructed Nigerians that petrol was offered for N600/litre underneath the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP) administration.

Shehu tweeted this alongside the entrance web page of a newspaper from Easter Sunday in 2013, in response to PDP claiming residents might not survive the increment in electrical energy tariffs and value of petrol.

Nevertheless, Shehu wrote: “Don’t enable the PDP to deceive you. Amidst acute shortages, they offered petrol at N600 per litre on Easter Sunday in 2013 (See Punch printed on that day).”
