Pay full wage or threat strike, Niger employees warn

Staff in Niger State have issued a seven-day ultimatum over fee of 70 per cent wage.

Chairman Commerce Union Congress (TUC) Comrade Inusa Tanimu and Chairman of the Joint Motion Committee of NLC, Comrade Mahmud Aminu Muye gave the ultimatum after the State Authorities paid 70 per cent of the employees’ salaries.

The federal government’s determination to scale back salaries employees by because of what it termed shortfall within the FAAC allocation.
