Oyo NSCDC arrests farmer over alleged homicide in Ogbomoso

Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, on Sunday mentioned it has arrested a farmer for allegedly killing one other farmer in Ogbomoso.

The command mentioned that its Agro Rangers Squad (Ogbomoso Zone) apprehended the farmer, Abraham Alamu in Ogbomoso.

NSCDC in an announcement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Mr Oluwole Olusegun, added that the suspect was arrested for homicide.

The assertion famous that Alamu was arrested on Friday in Ogbomoso city following his escape after he allegedly dedicated the offence at Oko Oba, Elega, Orire Native Authorities Space on 21st August, 2020.

The assertion added that the suspect brutalized one Shuaib Adamu of Elega village, Ikoyi Ogbomoso for grazing his cattle on his farm.

State Commandant of NSCDC, Mr. Iskilu Akinsanya, whereas talking mentioned that the arrest was made attainable with the assistance of the general public and the Agro Rangers Squad of the command.

He mentioned that the suspect was later handed over to the Nigeria police, Oyo State Command for additional investigations.

Objects recovered from the suspect in keeping with NSCDC included; Carpenter working instruments: Scissors, Hammer, Noticed, Nail remover, Mosquito web, three ATM playing cards, Two apprentice identification card, fabric, Bible, toothbrush and purse.
