Oyo might start arrest of face masks defaulters

OYO State Authorities mentioned on Wednesday that it is likely to be compelled to start the arrest and prosecution of those that didn’t put on face masks in public, if the one month enforcement on compliance didn’t yield outcome.

It mentioned it might embark on the arrest and prosecution of face masks defaulters, because the measures adopted to make sure that the protocols and pointers are adopted, usually are not working.

The federal government gave the warning whereas launching a one month enforcement of compliance to COVID-19 preventive measures at markets, after which arrest and prosecution of violators will observe.
