Over 87 APC councillors vow to withstand Obaseki’s harassment

NO fewer than eighty-seven elected councillors in Edo State have vowed to withstand the harassment and official intimidation meted out to them by Governor Godwin Obaseki to power them to hitch his Peoples Democratic Occasion (PDP).

The councillors, most of whom had been elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissed declare of their defection to the PDP, allegedly sponsored by Obaseki to painting false solidarity, whereas insisting that Edo governor’s efficiency since 2016 had neither impressed confidence nor supplied motivation for them to hitch in his defection.
