One feared dead as rival cult groups clash in Delta Community

One individual has reportedly been killed in a rival cult conflict between Aro-Baggar and Vikings Confraternities in Ugbomoro Neighborhood in Uvwie Native Authorities Space of Delta State.

Particulars of the conflict weren’t clear on the time of this report.

It was not additionally clear if the deceased who was shot on the chest was a member of any of the cult teams within the space.

When contacted for feedback, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report in a phone chat with our correspondent in Warri.

She mentioned, “It’s true and one individual was killed. They mentioned one other individual died this morning however they didn’t report that to the Police. It’s what they report, we verify.”
