Ondo election: Oyedele clears air on amassing cash from Akeredolu to step down

Ifeoluwa Oyedele has debunked allegations that he collected cash to step down for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Oyedele acknowledged this whereas addressing his supporters in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

In keeping with the Govt Director of Niger Delta Energy Holding Firm Ltd, he stepped down for the better curiosity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the individuals of the state.

He assured his supporters that he wouldn’t abandon them as he’s a person of integrity.

Oyedele additional defined that what he negotiated with Akeredolu, was the way forward for the state and the betterment of its individuals.

“No chief of the APC will look me within the face and provide me something that’s going to be of my very own profit.

“I’m a nationwide chief of this get together. All these within the negotiation desk acknowledged that truth,” Oyedele stated.

Akeredolu has since emerged the APC candidate for the Ondo state governorship election.
