The Federal Highway Security Corps (FRSC) says presentation of a sound Nationwide Identification Quantity (NIN) can be obligatory for all classes of auto registration from April.
Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM), Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Schooling Officer, made the announcement in an announcement on Saturday.
On December 21, 2020, FRSC mandated that every one candidates for the Nationwide Driver’s Licence should current their NIN earlier than being captured for any class of licence.
Kazeem stated the graduation was in full compliance with Federal Authorities’s directives on harmonisation of residents’ knowledge.
“Starting from the second quarter of this 12 months 2021, If you wish to register your car, it’s going to be obligatory so that you can present your NIN.
“That is a part of the safety checks. So, when you present your NIN, it makes the matter simpler and helps the federal government in nationwide planning”, the spokesman famous.
FRSC warned that there might be no waivers for anybody, regardless of their standing within the society.
