NNPC reshuffles senior managers – The Nation Nigeria

The Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Company (NNPC) has redeployed some senior officers as a part of an ongoing efforts to reposition the oil large for effectivity, transparency and profitability.

Its Group Common Supervisor Group Public Affairs Division Dr. Kennie Obateru mentioned in a press release on Sunday in Abuja, that the redeployments and appointments had been in step with the ‘Subsequent Degree Agenda’ of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Within the shake-up, Crude Oil Advertising Division (COMD) Group Common Supervisor Adokiye Tombomieye has been appointed the Chief Working Officer (COO), Upstream.

In response to the assertion, Nigerian Fuel Advertising Firm (NGMC) Managing Director Mohammed Abdulkabir Ahmed has been named the brand new COO, (Company Providers) following the retirement of Farouk Garba.

The COO (Upstream) Adeyemi Adetunji was redeployed to Ventures and Enterprise Growth Directorate as COO. He replaces Roland Onoriode Ewubare who voluntarily retired final week.

Additionally, NNPC Retail Restricted Managing Director Billy Okoye replaces Tombomieye in COMD as Group Common Supervisor.

Obateru mentioned Gross sales and Advertising NNPC Retail Restricted Common Supervisor Mrs. Elizabeth Aliyuda now takes over from Okoye as Managing Director.

He mentioned Usman Farouk, the Govt Director Asset Administration and Technical Providers on the NGMC takes over from Mr. Ahmed as Managing Director.

The NNPC spokesman additionally said that President Buhari had accepted Ewubare’s and Garba’s resignations.

He mentioned the President thanked the 2 former COOs for his or her meritorious service to the company and the nation.

Obateru quoted the Group Managing Director of the Company, Malam Mele Kyari, as saying that the brand new appointments would allow the company to reside as much as the expectation of its shareholders and Nigerians.

He added that the shake-up will give impetus to the continuing restructuring throughout the company, which is in step with the company imaginative and prescient of “Transparency, Accountability and Efficiency Excellence (TAPE).’’
