Nigerian troops have once more eradicated terrorists in Borno.
Troopers ambushed them on Tuesday at Tunkushe village, 20 kilometers from Maiduguri, the State capital.
The insurgents have been wearing army uniforms and moved in two Hilux that had anti-aircraft weapons.
A army supply instructed PRNigeria that they have been suspected Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters.
“They have been repelled by the troops of 212 Battalion of the Nigerian Military in a heavy gunfight that lasted for greater than half-hour.
“Whereas two troopers have been wounded, at the very least three lifeless our bodies of the attackers have been seen. Troops are pursuing fleeing terrorists”, he mentioned.
AK 47 rifles, buffen radio and numerous forms of ammunition have been recovered.
