The Air Process Power (ATF) of Operation Lafiya Dole has inflicted heavy casualties on Boko Haram terrorists of their hideouts alongside the Jakana axis in Borno State.
The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche disclosed this in a press release on Friday.
Enenche reported that the operation was executed on 13 January 2021, following intelligence stories.
The assertion learn: “In continuation of the intensive air operations to rid the North East of the nation of terrorist components, the Air Process Power of Operation Lafiya Dole has destroyed some Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) automobiles and eradicated a number of of their fighters alongside the Jakana axis of Borno State.
“This was achieved via airstrikes executed on 13 January 2021 after intelligence stories revealed that the BHTs have been conducting one other logistics motion via the Jakana-Mainok axis of the state.
