Nigerian military airstrikes hit bandits’ hideout, kill scores in Kaduna forest [VIDEO]

The Defence Headquarters has mentioned that the Air Element of Operation Thunder Strike has neutralized a number of armed bandits in airstrikes on their camps within the Kuduru and Kwaimbana forest areas of Kaduna State.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, in an announcement in Abuja on Friday, mentioned the successes have been achieved by way of separate airstrikes carried out on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Enenche defined that the assaults have been launched on the heels of credible intelligence reviews indicating that the 2 places have been getting used as staging areas by the bandits.

In response to him, the assault on the Kuduru Forest hideout was executed after aerial reconnaissance missions noticed a big variety of armed bandits round some compounds in a small settlement inside the forest.

In response to him, the Air Element dispatched the Nigerian Air Pressure (NAF) jets and helicopter gunships to assault the situation.

“The assault plane took turns in strafing the goal space resulting in the neutralization of a number of of the bandits in addition to injury to their dwellings.

“On the Kwaimbana Forest the place some bandits have been seen together with many rustled cattle round some huts and makeshift buildings, the NAF jets and helicopter gunships engaged the realm in successive passes, taking out a few of the bandits,” he mentioned.
