Mr Wassim Elhusseini has been appointed as the brand new Managing Director (MD) of Nestlé Nigeria Plc.
Elhusseini takes over from Mr Mauricio Alarcon who has been appointed because the Market Head of Nestlé Central and West Africa Area comprising 25 international locations with head workplace in Ghana.
A press release issued on Wednesday by Mrs Victoria Uwadoka, Company Communications and Public Affairs Supervisor, Nestlé Nigeria Plc said that the appointments would take impact from Sept.1, .
“However this new appointment, Alarcon will stay on the Board of Nestlé Nigeria Plc as a Non-Govt Director.
“The Board expresses its appreciation of Alarcon’s excellent achievements in all ramifications since he was appointed because the Managing Director of the Firm in October 2016 and is happy that the Firm will proceed to learn from his expertise.

“Mr Wassim Elhusseini, at the moment the Nation Supervisor and Gross sales Director of Nestlé Center East & North Africa (MENA).
“Elhusseini joined Nestlé Kuwait in 2002 as Channel Class Gross sales Improvement (CCSD) Supervisor for Espresso & Creamers. In 2015, he moved to Nestlé Center East to guide the CCSD Unit.
“Appointed Gross sales Director of Nestlé Center East in 2016, Elhusseini positively contributed to the enterprise from a practical and management perspective’’.
Uwadoka stated within the assertion that Elhusseini “performed an integral function within the creation of the brand new Center East and North Africa area, comprising 16 international locations, earlier than his function was expanded to Nation Supervisor and Gross sales Director in 2020’’.
