
The Nationwide Examination Council(NECO) has been compelled to reschedule Paper I Pc Research Sensible’s scheduled to happen on Monday 19 October 2020 to November 16
In an announcement by the Head, Data and Public Relations Division, NECO, Azeez Sani, the council blamed the choice on the #ENDSARS protests that blocked the free motion of transport on the entrance gate into Benin Metropolis, the Edo state capital.
The assertion reads: “That is to tell most of the people and particularly candidates that the Nationwide Examinations Council (NECO) has been constrained to reschedule the Paper I Pc Research Sensible’s earlier scheduled to happen on Monday 19 October 2020, 10 am to 1 pm. The examination of this paper will now maintain on Monday 16 November 2020, 10 am-1 pm.
”This unexpected incident has been brought on by the ENDSARS protest that blocked the free motion of transport on the Metropolis entrance gate Benin.
“The NECO supply truck had left its take-off level nicely upfront two days earlier to ship examination supplies to some states and has been held up within the blockage since then.
“The Council needs to guarantee all stakeholders and most of the people that the affected examination supplies have been retrieved intact and are within the custody of NECO’s vault.
”Whereas regretting any inconveniences this rescheduling could trigger our esteemed stakeholders, the Council has nonetheless taken this determination so as to preserve the integrity and safety of its examinations procedures for seamless conduct of the Council’s examination.”
