NBA: Supreme Council of Shari’ah declares place on withdrawal of Gov El-Rufai
The Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria, SCSN, has attacked the the Nigerian Bar Affiliation, NBA, for dis-inviting Governor Nasir El-Rufai to its Annual Common Convention.
The council accused the NBA of taking facet within the Southern Kaduna disaster.
This was contained in an announcement signed by the Secretary Common of the Council, Nafi’u Baba-Ahmad, and made obtainable to reporters on Saturday.
The Sharia council was reacting to the removing of Governor Nasiru El-Rufai as one of many visitor audio system on the NBA forthcoming convention.
“For, clearly it has already taken facet within the Southern Kaduna crises, opposite to its members coaching and what it loudly preaches, with out listening to the narrative from the opposite facet,” the assertion mentioned.

Recall that the Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, had earlier condemned NBA’s determination to drop El-Rufai from the listing of audio system at its 2020 Digital Annual Common Convention (AGC) which is billed to happen from 26th to 29th August, 2020.
Additionally, the Muslim Attorneys Affiliation of Nigeria (MULAN) in Kaduna State has shunned participation within the convention over the exclusion of El-Rufai as speaker.
The NBA had withdrawn its invitation to Governor El-Rufai, following protests from some legal professionals.
