LAGOS State Authorities and its partnership with the West African Vocational Instructional (WAVE) Academy to coach 250 unemployed youths will cut back unemployment,
Wealth Creation and Employment Commissioner Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke has stated.
She spoke at a zoom coaching session organised by her ministry and the academy for unemployed youths.
Arobieke stated the partnership would empower and improve the employability abilities of the beneficiaries within the areas of teamwork, time administration and good communication abilities.
These abilities, in accordance with her, are indispensable in securing profitable employment alternatives on the formal and casual sectors. Arobieke stated the coaching would enhance the probabilities of the members getting employed.
She stated the ministry was established to deal with unemployment via wealth creation, including that since its creation, it has been performing its tasks.
The commissioner thanked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his help via creation of job alternatives and an enabling setting for capability constructing.
