Market fires: FCT Minister, Bello visits, commiserates with traders

FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, on Tuesday, visited the Kado Fish market in addition to the Yarkasuwa makeshift market in Gwarimpa.

It is going to be recalled that parts of each markets have been gutted by hearth over the Christmas holidays.

Bello, who was accompanied by the Govt Secretary of the FCDA, Engr Umar Gambo Jibrin and different senior members of workers of the FCTA commiserated with the merchants on their loss.

This was made identified in a press release launched by his Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye in Abuja.

The assertion learn partially, “On the Yarkauwa makeshift market, Malam Bello stated discussions could be held with the Federal Housing Authority over the incident.”

Talking earlier, the Chairman of the Kado Fish Market Merchants Affiliation Alhaji Yusuf Muhammed stated that the hearth occurred when there have been only a few individuals round because the Christian merchants have been celebrating Christmas whereas the Muslims have been observing the Jumaat prayers.
