Manchester Metropolis midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, is now a doubt for this weekend’s Premier League conflict in opposition to Arsenal.
This follows his withdrawal from the Belgium squad.
De Bruyne was substituted throughout the second half of their 2-1 defeat to England within the Nations League on Sunday.
The 29-year-old has now been deemed not “match sufficient” to function within the sport in opposition to Iceland on Wednesday and has returned to Manchester for additional evaluation.
Belgium supervisor, Roberto Martinez, talking after the defeat to England, mentioned: “I’d not say that Kevin is injured… he mentioned he felt one thing.
“It’s too early to know what he has, however he didn’t really feel 100 per cent. It was somewhat a precautionary change.”
