Lebanese Ambassador walks out on Reps

The Lebanese Ambassador to Nigeria, M Houssam Diab, on Thursday, walked out on the Home of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Affairs.
The Ambassador was summoned by the Committee to reply to the alleged maltreatment of Nigerians in Lebanon, particularly one Temitope Arowolo, present process trial for alleged tried homicide
The Lebanese Envoym who was not impressed with the presence of the media on the venue of the assembly, walked out of the room at about 10.52am when the assembly was about to begin.
Chairman of the Home Committee on Diaspora, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, mentioned she was shocked the “Ambassador will simply stand up and stroll out on us”.
She informed newsmen the Ambassador honoured the invitation as a mark of respect for the nation however was not anticipating the media as a result of he was unaware the Home information all its conferences.
