Lagos CJ blames dad and mom for child’s waywardness

Lagos Chief Decide Justice Kazeem Alogba on Tuesday blamed dad and mom and guardians for his or her youngsters’s waywardness.

The CJ was talking at Samuel Ilori Courtroom Home, Ogba, Lagos the place he launched 42 juveniles from BORSAL Correctional Coaching  Institute, Adigbe, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The juveniles have been introduced in from Ogun for the discharge ceremony following the advice  of Correctional Centres Decongestion Committee chaired by Justice Adenike Coker.

All of them narrated to the Chief Decide the circumstances below which they have been dropped at the Correctional Coaching institute.

However quite than blame the juveniles for his or her violent and illegal conduct, Justice Alogba blamed their dad and mom.

He mentioned, “If dad and mom had stood by their youngsters and introduced them up nicely, as a substitute of socialising, most of those youngsters won’t have any brush with the legislation. It’s unhappy that we sacrifice  them on the alter of financial beneficial properties. Their case remains to be redeemable.

“Mother and father and guardians should reawaken themselves to their duties as a result of if we fail, it means we’re ungrateful  to God who gave them to us. If we ourselves are upright, they’ll see in us the ethical latitude wanted to steer a great life.”
