Israeli Jewish organisation, The Chabad of Nigeria, has appointed Mendy Sternbach as its first ever Rabbi accountable for Lagos centre.
Rabbi of Israel to Nigeria introduced the appointment in an announcement on Thursday.
Sternbach, 27, stated that his appointment alongside his spouse Mazal, 22, marked the Chabad’s eleventh presence in Sub-Saharan Africa.
