The stays of late founding President of the Newspaper Proprietors Affiliation of Nigeria (NPAN) and former Managing Director of the Democrat Newspapers, Mallam Ismaila Isa Funtua, had been interred on Tuesday on the Gudu Cemetery at Abuja.
The late elderstatesman died of cardiac arrest on Monday night time at 78.
Isa Funtua was President Muhammadu Buhari’s political affiliate and in-law.
The Salat-al- Janazah was held earlier than his burial on the Shehu Shagari Central Mosque, Space 1, Garki, Abuja.
It was preformed by the Chief Imam Space 1 Mosque, Sheikh Abdulahi Bala Yau.
Prayers had been supplied at his grave by the Chief Imam of Nationwide Mosque, Abuja, Dr Kabir.

Others had been former EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu and Chairman of THISDAY /ARISE TV, Chief Nduka Obaigbena.
These on the burial had been the Writer Abuja Enquirer Dan Akpovwa; Writer Management Newspaper Noah Isaiah and Mohammed Idris of Blueprint Newspaper.
