INEC confirms oblique major election for Ondo APC

The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC on Thursday confirmed that oblique mode of major shall be used in the course of the July 20, 2020 primaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The electoral physique mentioned that each the APC and PDP will use oblique primaries.

INEC had allotted 2nd to 27th July for political events to choose candidates for the October 10, 2020 governorship polls in Ondo State.

The mode of primaries to be adopted by the APC had generated controversies as a majority of the 12 aspirants most well-liked direct primaries whereas the incumbent Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu mentioned he could be prepared for any mode of primaries adopted by the get together.

The state Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC in Ondo State, Ambassador Rufus Akeju who disclosed this in Akure confirmed that the oblique mode of major election was communicated to INEC by means of a letter from the APC Nationwide Secretariat.
