Imo: Five-year old missing boy found dead

Gunmen have shot lifeless a councillorship candidate within the forthcoming native authorities elections, in Delta State, Mr. Elliot Offa.

The gunmen additionally kidnapped two others who have been with the deceased on the time of the incident.

The incident occurred alongside the Jesse/Oben street, a boundary between Delta and Edo States, DAILY POST studies.

It was learnt that the deceased and the 2 others have been coming back from the Workplace of the Delta State Unbiased Electoral Fee, DSIEC, Asaba when the gunmen ambushed, shot sporadically and killed the deceased.

The deceased was the fast previous Supervisory Councillor on Atmosphere of Ethiope-West Native Authorities Council.

When contacted, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report saying,”They mentioned it occurred in Edo State, not Delta State.”
