Suspected gunmen have kidnapped Bridget Esene, spokeswoman of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Edo State.
Based on NAN, Esene was kidnapped on her option to church in Benin, the State capital, on Sunday.
The gunmen reportedly trailed her to Iqueniro space of Benin, dragged her out of the automotive, and whisked her right into a ready car.
“She was kidnapped at her church premises, round Agbor street space, this morning. Her whereabouts is but unknown, as her abductors are but to talk along with her household,” the supply stated.
“Her automotive has been recovered the place it was dumped at Agbor street bye cross space, and we learnt that her abductors headed in direction of the Benin – Auchi street axis, off the by-pass,” the supply added.
Chidi Nwabuzor, the Edo police command spokesman, neither confirmed nor denied the kidnapping, saying he isn’t ready to talk on the matter.
