President Muhammadu Buhari has warned all his appointees that he wouldn’t settle for any act of disrespect to the Nationwide Meeting.
In line with a press release by his Senior Particular Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President handed down the warning whereas receiving the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan; and the Speaker of the Home of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The assertion was titled ‘President Buhari reads riot act to ministers, MDAs, Chief Executives on relationship with NASS.’
Keyamo had engaged members of the Senate and Home of Representatives committee in a shouting match on the matter.
However in line with the assertion, the President requested ministers and all heads of departments and companies to, always, conduct themselves in methods that won’t undermine the Nationwide Meeting as an establishment, its management and members.

Earlier, Lawan and Gbajabiamila, throughout an interview with State Home correspondents, stated the Nationwide Meeting would not tolerate attitudes of presidency officers that have been inimical to cordial relationship with government.
Lawan who spoke within the presence of Gbajabiamila , famous that the present Nationwide Meeting had up to now had a cordial relationship with the Govt arm, attributing it to the President.
He stated, “If you’re an appointee of the President, you’re presupposed to be reflective of the perspective of the President in direction of the Nationwide Meeting.”
