Hushpuppi: Protesters storm US Embassy, demand arrest of Atiku, Dino Melaye [PHOTOS]

Some Protesters on Monday took to the US Embassy, Abuja, demanding an investigation into the hyperlink between ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Timi Frank and a few Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) chieftains with Raymond Abbas Igbalode, popularly often called Hushpuppi.

The group, beneath the aegis of Involved Residents Discussion board (CCF), seen of their numbers held placards calling for the arrest of Atiku, Melaye and different PDP members linked to the fraudster.

Some inscriptions from the placards learn: “Say No to fraud, Interpol act now”, Interpol act and arrest Dino Melaye”, “Present me your good friend and I’ll let you know who you’re”, “FBI ought to examine Atiku Abubakar,” amongst others.

In addition they submitted a letter to the US Ambassador and the Federal Bureau of Investigation calling for a radical probe of Hushpuppi’s political allies within the PDP.

That is coming after the All Progressives Congress (APC) had alleged “legal conspiracy linking the highest PDP members to Hushpuppi.

The protesters submitted a letter signed by Comrade Adamu Kabir Matazu.

Within the letter, Matazu referred to as on the US to research the connection between PDP excessive profile Chieftains and Hushpuppi.

The group claimed that ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar’s frequent journeys to Dubai previous to 2019 presidential elections is probably not unconnected to Hushpuppi.

They requested the US to go after Atiku, Dino Melaye, Timi Frank and different PDP stalwarts who by their associations with Hushpuppi could have helped to launder the proceeds of crime.

Recall that Bukola Saraki and Atiku over the weekend had denied any connection to Hushpuppi.

Atiku described the allegations as mischievous and an try at political blackmail by the APC, including that the image with Hushpuppi was not a gathering.
