Gunmen hit Ibadan’s Ikolaba Police station, kill corporal on responsibility

A police corporal was killed on Friday night when some unidentified gunmen attacked the Ikolaba Police Station in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The gunmen shot sporadically as they stormed the station.

The explanation for the assault couldn’t be ascertained.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident.

He mentioned investigation was ongoing to find out the reason for the assault.
