Gunmen allegedly abduct ex-Abia Customary Courtroom Choose

Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a former customary court docket decide in Abia State, Chief Godwin Mejuru.
Mejuru, based on stories, was kidnapped at Okeikpe, Ukwa West council space of the state.

Mejuru was mentioned to be on his technique to Obehie city when the gunmen seized him at Okeikpe alongside the Azumini- Obehie highway.

Household sources mentioned the abductors have been but to contact the household, elevating fears about his security.

Mejuru is described by residents of Obehie city as peace-loving and easy-going.

A resident mentioned: “Chief Godwin Mejuru is an easygoing and peace-loving individual, who might have plotted towards him?

“We solely heard that he was returning to his residence at Obehie city. No one is aware of how the incident occurred, perhaps, he bumped into the abductors on the highway. We pray they launch him unharmed.”

Efforts to get the response of the Police Public Relations Officer, Abia State Command, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna, was unsuccessful because the time of submitting this report.
