Govt to avenge assault on UN staff, says Buhari

Mastermind of Saturday’s assault on a United Nations (UN) helicopter close to Damasak, Borno State, can pay dearly for it, President Muhammadu Buhari vowed on Sunday.

The President mentioned the federal government will avenge the assault during which two individuals, together with a five-year-old, have been killed. The assault was attributed to insurgents.

In keeping with a report by the UN, one in all its Humanitarian Air Service helicopter was shot at by the Boko Haram terror group on Saturday.
