Giving a motive for his prayer, Late Ajimobi popularly referred to as ‘Constituted Authority’ mentioned he needed to die on the age as a result of his father died two months earlier than his 70th birthday.

 

Talking to the Imams in Yoruba Language through the radio present, late Ajimobi acknowledged;

 

“Once I was 40, I began telling God that once I clock 70, it’s sufficient. My father died two months earlier than his 70th birthday. So I began praying to God that I ought to get the grace to clock 70.

 

After I clocked 70 and I seeing how candy life was, I began telling God once more that this age 70 shouldn’t be sufficient please make it 96 years outdated. Now that you’ve got prayed for me that I ought to clock 100, I’m proud of it.”

The previous Governor breathed his final breath on Thursday at age 70, simply as he wished.

 

Earlier than his demise, he was reported to be receiving remedy for coronavirus after a lung surgical procedure on the First Cardiology Hospital, Ikoyi, the place he died.
