All appears not too properly with the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led authorities in Ondo State following the risk by staff to embark on strike.
The civil servants in a letter addressed to the governor gave him 5 days ultimatum to close down the state if their calls for weren’t met.
DAILY POST gathered that the employees throughout the 18 Native Authorities Areas of the state are demanding for the cost of their excellent salaries, go away bonuses amongst different entitlements pending through the years.
The employees beneath the Joint Negotiating Council, JNC, in a letter dated 10th July, 2020, gave Akeredolu until Wednesday, 15 July, 2020 to name for negotiations or they are going to down instruments.
The agitation was contained in a letter to the governor and collectively signed by the state Chairman of JNC, Comrade Oluwaniyi Fabunmi and the State Secretary, Comrade Kehinde Olomiye.
JNC is an umbrella physique of all of the labour unions within the public service and includes associates of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Commerce Union Congress.
