Abatti Muhammad has been appointed Performing Government Secretary (ES) of the Nationwide Board for Technical Schooling (NBTE).
NBTE Deputy Director, Public Relations, Jacob Abang introduced this on Wednesday.
Muhammad took over from Ekpenyong Ekpenyong, who retired from service on January 22 on the age of 60.
He was the Performing ES since Masa’udu Kazaure bowed out three months in the past, after serving as NBTE ES for 10 years.
Ekpenyong concluded the promotion train for senior workers at the moment awaiting approval by the board, in addition to the graduation of the 2020/2021 accreditation train.

Muhammad, a First-Class graduate of Agricultural Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello College Zaria, was born of February 12, 1964, in Dawakin Kudu, Kano State.
He obtained a Grasp of Science diploma in Soil and Water Engineering in 1991, and a Grasp of Arts diploma in Growth Research from College of Leeds, UK, in 1999.
The brand new ES started his public service profession as an Assistant Lecturer within the Division of Agricultural Engineering, Ahmadu Bello College, Zaria, in 1988.
He joined NBTE as a Senior Programmes Officer in 1992, and served as pioneer Secretary of the Journal of Agriculture Know-how, Venture Officer, UNESCO-Nigeria TVE Revitalization Venture.
Muhammad was Rector of Kano State Polytechnic between 2004 and 2007. He returned to NBTE in 2007 as Deputy Director of Programmes (Engineering Know-how Division).
He was the Director, Vocational, Technical and Expertise Growth Division till his elevation.
